Mr. Licata is Fund Controller responsible for investor reporting and relations, as well as financial planning, analysis, and administration for the Penzance discretionary real estate funds.

Prior to joining Penzance, Mr. Licata served as a Real Estate Finance Manager, Fund Controller, and Valuation Manager for JP Morgan Asset Management in Los Angeles and New York. He was responsible for financial management and reporting on assets from acquisition through disposition. He worked on formation and assumed responsibility for reporting and daily operation of separate account investments and closed-end funds. As a Valuation Manager, he reviewed quarterly valuations of multifamily, office, and industrial assets, secured loans and assisted with technological initiatives to capture key performance metrics.  

Before JP Morgan, was a Public REIT Controller at Colony Capital and an audit and advisory manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in the consumer lending space. Mr. Licata is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York. He attended SUNY Binghamton where he received his bachelor’s degree in accounting.
